The Association of IT-Mittelstand is active in promoting networking between small and medium-sized IT companies (IT SMEs), because by pooling creative resources synergies can be achieved and increased in this way, the competitiveness of the SMEs. Already for a long time the Association calls on support for the initiation of collaborative business models so the policy. Previous funding schemes were too complicated and too rigid for this purpose.
Result was that public money for research and development (r & d) often by large companies were picked up. The ZIM, however, opens up promising approaches for an actual means of resistance just promotion. Apparently, medium-sized years of representation by the Association has been finally still hearing. However, vigilance is still required. The Opening the programme to companies with up to 1000 employees indicates again deviating from the path of support for SMEs.
Nevertheless, the VDEB supports the ZIM. In this context, also the information event about the ZIM is to settle, which was organized by the Association of IT-Mittelstand in cooperation with the Aachen competence center electronic commerce (ACC-EC). Obviously, the event in which the ZIM with the themes of innovation and IT-Mittelstand was connected, the nerve of IT SMEs met.
